Very comfortable rooms and great view of the mountains from room. The sky was clear in November 2025. Staff were very polite and helpful.

We had organised a family celebration at Taj Guras Kutir in end October 2025. Our entire stay was a lovely experience right from the hospitality of all the team members across, front desk, F&B and event planning. Food is excellent and very well taken care of. Chef Dheeraj and Saurabh at F&B are special mentions for taking care of our large family group of around 40 people. Special credit goes to Mr Alex at group and events at the hotel. He was available 24/7 and taken care of all our requirements (some were last minute) but he made sure they were executed efficiently. Hotel is outside Gangtok, which means away from the hustle and bustle of the town and most rooms over look the Kanchanjenga. The overall atmosphere is serene and relaxing. On the way from Bagdogra, the midpoint lounge is a very well thought out venue to stretch your legs and access to the facilities. This distinction between any other hotel and Taj Guras makes is the difference which we sensed all ***** our stay. Most of all the entire team at Taj Guras go out of their way to help and ensure a smooth stay. Recommend wholeheartedly for a corporate or family event.

Taj Guras is a beautiful property with stunning views that immediately put you at ease. The staff is exceptionally courteous and attentive, ensuring every request is taken care of promptly and with a smile. The food is fantastic, especially our meal at Soi & Sake, was outstanding, and elevated the overall experience. It is truly a wonderful place to spend time with your loved ones, surrounded by nature and delightful weather. A highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, warmth, and serenity. The manager Mr. Anil and his team made sure our stay and experience at the property was top notch. I would definitely recommend the property to anyone visiting Gangtok, and would most definitely like to visit sometime again. Cheers

The stay at Taj Guras Kutir was truely mesmerizing. The location of this resort is great and the views of the kanchenjunga from the hotel room is fabulous. The food at Machan: multi-cuisine restaurant was amazing by chefs Dheraj and kyalan. The breakfast at this restaurant was also fabulous with views of the mountains (open seating). Also the food at Soi Sake was fabulous, the pan asian food was absolutely amazing especially the sushi and dimsums by chef sunny. We were given great service by both Tanisha and Ananika at these restaurants. Arun also told us about the nearby attractions and market nearby. The spa at the resort is amazing which also includes a jacuzi with the views of the mountains. The activities at the resort are also amazing, especially the 3km trek near the resort by Rahul Rai guide. Aruna at the front desk helped us in booking all the activities like nathula pass trip and also helped us with the hotel bookings and all.

Words can’t describe this place TAJ GURAS KUTIR. It is definitely best resort of Taj. Heaven is a lesser word for this place. Felt like home and I literally was in tears to go back to my next destination. Firstly the warm welcome from each and every staff here required no introduction of self here. Special Thanks to Mr. Sougata Sir & Mr. Ak for thier enthusiastic reception from the entrance till their sweet good bye at check-out. They definitely uphold the brand loyalty & integrity! The view of Kanchenjunga in the mornings are worth to die for. I will visit this place again and again. I travelled from Bangalore in different modes to reach this paradise but worth all the journey. I carry this memory for a lifetime. It’s a new property of Taj. They are just rocking. Loved the heated jacuzzi with the view of the snow peaked mountains. Spa at this resort was mind blowing. I went for a full body massage with their aromatic oils. As such no words to describe Wellness. They are always awesome. Staff running up with the buggies are happy to take us and up and down the mountains. Rooms are magical. I stayed at the Himalayan view room. Waking up to see those beautiful Himalayas gives us a whole new meaning to life itself. Running away from the hustle bustle of my city life this is an ultimate escape. Dream come true is what I can say about my stay here. When you enter the property you get to see those 5 elements of life concept. I just loved it. Magical. They have a cozy place to pray and there is pooja offered to Buddha where a monk performed the pooja. So so peaceful. They have an amazing bar set up opening to the balcony sit out to get sole view of the mountains. What’s unique is they have a space station where they have star grazing telescope and rocket making for kids. Very interesting. I’m basically a foodie and love to try sole local cuisine where ever i go and this property offered me with such amazing sikkim ka aloo. Special thanks to Mr. Kalyan master chef. He is so so down to earth. Loved every single dish that was made with love not just made. Food was just too yummy. Thanks for the vegetable kichadi for my kid. Thanks for your patience with us. Tanisha from F&B was ready to help at any point of time. Loved her kind service. Thanks to all the staff of Taj Guras Kutir. I definitely recommend Taj to reward this property and their sincere enthusiastic work. This property definitely has the best staff and special Staff of Taj working round the clock. Appreciate and thanks for making my son’s Birthday a special one. Vivaan loved his stay! Thanks from my 4 year old to all of you!
